Roger Federer

After a fairy tale comeback by the Swiss ace Roger Federer took a slight break to recuperate and now eyes the French Open; tough task against the inform Rafa but well nothing is impossible for the GOAT.

Winning all 4 encounters which they have had previously in Switzerland, Australia, Indian well and the Miami Open, Roger has had Nadal’s number however clay is no doubt Rafa’s playground.

Roger just confirmed that he will play the French Open and couldn’t compete last year due to his knee injury.  While talking to media the superman of tennis said that he has registered and his intention is to play in France with the mindset to win his second title.

Roger Federer

He said this after beating John Isner in a exhibition match for Africa which was being played in America.  He said that he feels privileged to be back on the court after what happened last year and his comeback has been phenomenal winning 3 major titles including one grand slam in Australia.

But back problems started in Miami so he took a break and spent time with the family and started to prepare by changing and tweaking his game for clay.

Federer the 18 time grand slam winner and known as the greatest player ever to grace the sport has previously won the French Open only once in the year of 2009 and now this may be his year to get another one under his belt as it seems he’s in good form and maybe able to get to the final stages of the competition.

Still in my opinion the favorite to win it is the king of clay Rafa Nadal who himself has had his share of injuries and has been in fine form like Roger Federer going to final rounds and winning the Monte Carlos Title would give him high hopes for the French Open.

Nadal prefers the clay, if you would like to get your court manufactured, made, painted or resurfaced check out our site or check Talbot Tennis Reviews for all things tennis.
