The Galaxy Z Fold 4 launches with Android 12L-based One UI 4.1.1. In Europe and South Korea, the Galaxy Tab S8 series is the first to have Android 12L (One UI 4.1.1).

What’s New?

In Europe, the Galaxy Tab S8’s latest software update is X70xBXXU2AVH2, while the S8is +’s X80xBXXU2AVH5. Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra gets X90xBXXU2AVH2 firmware.

The update includes the August 2022 security patch for the Galaxy Tab S8, Galaxy Tab S8+, and Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra.

Galaxy Tab S8 (One UI 4.1.1) Runs Android 12L

The Android 12L update adds the Galaxy Z Fold 4’s Taskbar. It stays at the bottom and provides faster app navigation and multitasking.

It instantly opens apps in split-screen or pop-up mode. It can pin and open frequently-used app pairs.

Two-finger gesture switches between full-screen and split-screen. Using an app’s handle, a floating window or split screen can be opened. The new software supports Edge Panel app names.

What’s More?

With One UI 4.1.1, Galaxy Tab S8 can extract text from images, share it with any app, or translate it.

Supported languages include Chinese, French, German, Italian, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish. Also, visual text-based actions are recommended.

Samsung allows customers to select distinct caller backgrounds for each contact. Google Meet now includes Google Duo, so users can have 1:1 or group video chats.

Digging Into More Details

Samsung Keyboard supports more emojis, stickers, and kaomoji.

My Files can now search files. The program will find a phone number even if it’s in an image or document. Filter and sort search results in files.

In Samsung Internet, you may rearrange preferred sites by dragging and dropping. Folders organize bookmarks.

Users can edit a collection of lock screen backgrounds and change their selection after choosing one.
